My Story

Hey y’all!

I’m Jessica Jane deLinde.  I wanted to introduce myself real fast and say THANK YOU for taking a moment to read the stories, thoughts, and words of the girl who wore that little white dress! God has been so faithful and extremely gracious to me and my family. I write today of a redeemed, forgiven, blessed and loved girl who simply hopes that her story will encourage and inspire others to grow in God’s love. God is so good and I can (and will!) tell you that over and over and over again. 

As you read my blog, I ask that you'll give me a bit of grace through the transparency of my words. My goal is to be authentic and transparent of the sweet work God has done in my heart. Please know these are prayerfully and carefully chosen words so that God gets the glory and I have the opportunity to share His light and love in my life. I fully believe that God is purposeful and leaves no event or circumstance untouched by His unfailing love and faithfulness. 

I currently live in North County San Diego and absolutely love it. I'm a born and raised southern girl from Arkansas with an amazing family. I've been fortunate to grow up knowing God's love through my parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, siblings, church family, school teachers, colleagues, mentors and friends. My blessings are counted by "whom" instead of "what" and I pray that I never, ever take for granted the sweet souls in my life. God also blessed me with an education, an active love for sports and the outdoors, and an opportunity to move out west to serve as a liaison and resource to military families. 

I was married for five years, been divorced for two and still amazed at how God will take such a situation and use it for His goodness. Life is tough, but it is oh-so-good and I'm exactly where I need to be. Thanks so much for letting me share a bit of my heart with you. Sending my love!
